Repeater
Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 5, 2026
This Repeater-specific policy supplements the Atlas Peak Media privacy policy and describes the data behavior of the Repeater iOS app.
Overview
Repeater is an FCC Amateur Radio license study app for iPhone and iPad covering the Technician, General, and Extra-class exams. It is designed to be local-first: your study progress, flashcard reviews, practice exam scores, fundamentals reading position, and Station Log entries are created by you and stored on your device.
Repeater does not require an Atlas Peak Media account.
Data Repeater Handles
Study progress: which flashcards you have reviewed, FSRS spaced-repetition scheduling state, practice exam scores and attempt history, fundamentals reading progress, and per-element mastery estimates.
Subscription status: Apple StoreKit tells the app whether your Apple ID has purchased the one-time Full Unlock. Atlas Peak Media does not receive your payment card information.
Station Log entries: any contacts, dates, frequencies, modes, or notes you enter into the local Station Log. Entries stay on your device.
Onboarding selections: target exam level, study cadence preferences, audio narration preferences, and notification preferences.
Storage and Sync
Repeater stores user-authored study and Station Log data locally on your device.
Question pools, fundamentals articles, lessons, and operator guides are bundled with the app or downloaded as content updates and are not used for advertising.
Repeater can export the Station Log as a CSV file you choose to share. CSV export does not transmit data to Atlas Peak Media.
Third-Party Services
Apple services: App Store, StoreKit, AVFoundation (audio narration), and LocalAuthentication support purchases, on-device speech, and optional biometric app lock.
Repeater does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
What Repeater Does Not Do
Repeater does not sell your study data.
Repeater does not use your study data for advertising.
Repeater does not transmit Station Log entries, review history, exam scores, or notes as analytics events.
Repeater does not receive or store Face ID, Touch ID, or biometric templates. Biometric unlock is handled locally by Apple.
Repeater does not deliver, proctor, or grade real FCC license exams. Only the FCC and accredited Volunteer Examiner Coordinators issue and administer Amateur Radio licenses.
Deleting Data
You can reset progress for a specific exam pool inside the app. You can also delete all Repeater data by deleting the app from your device.
