Bastion
Terms of Service
Effective date: May 5, 2026
These terms cover Bastion-specific purchase behavior, study disclaimers, and responsible use.
Relationship to Apple Standard EULA
Bastion uses Apple's standard End User License Agreement for App Store distribution unless App Store Connect later states otherwise. These Bastion terms supplement the Atlas Peak Media Terms of Service for product-specific purchases, study data, and disclaimers.
Purchases and Unlocks
Bastion offers per-certification non-consumable in-app purchases through Apple's App Store. Each cert unlock grants lifetime access to that certification's full content for the original purchasing Apple ID.
Bastion offers multi-cert bundles as additional non-consumable in-app purchases. A bundle unlocks every certification listed in the bundle for the original purchasing Apple ID.
Purchases, refunds, billing questions, and restore-purchase flows are handled by Apple. Atlas Peak Media does not receive your payment card information.
Bastion does not currently offer subscriptions. There is no auto-renewal, no trial period, and no recurring billing.
Study Disclaimer
Bastion is informational study software. It is not a CompTIA, AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, ISC2, ISACA, GIAC, PMI, or other vendor product. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or licensed by any certifying body.
Bastion does not deliver, proctor, or grade real certification exams. Practice exam scores are estimates intended for self-assessment and study targeting.
Performance on Bastion does not guarantee certification outcomes. Verify all study material against current exam objectives and consult vendor publications before sitting for an exam.
Content and Model Limitations
Question pools, PBQ scenarios, fundamentals articles, and lesson content are original-written by Atlas Peak Media. They are mapped to publicly available exam objectives and may not reflect every nuance of the live exam.
Exam objectives, vendor product names, certification logos, and similar marks belong to their respective owners. References in Bastion are nominative and do not imply endorsement.
FSRS spaced-repetition scheduling is a memory-management tool. Mastery indicators, readiness gauges, and pace recommendations are decision aids, not guarantees of pass-rate.
Acceptable Use
Do not redistribute, scrape, or republish Bastion question pools, fundamentals articles, lesson text, or PBQ scenarios.
Do not attempt to bypass StoreKit purchases, jailbreak entitlement checks, or use Bastion in a way that violates Apple's Developer Program License Agreement or applicable law.
Do not use Bastion to misrepresent practice scores, mock exam attempts, or in-app progress as official certification results.
