Introduction

Atlas Peak Media, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates atlaspeakmedia.com and associated mobile applications including Lexica, Rigor, Talos, First Generation Finance, and Shortlist. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

App-Specific Data Practices

Each of our applications handles data differently. Here is exactly what each app does with your information:

Lexica

  • ✦All data stored on device. Your vocabulary progress, review history, and FSRS scheduling data are stored locally on your device.
  • ✦No account required. You never need to create an account or provide personal information.
  • ✦No data transmitted to our servers. Lexica does not send any data to Atlas Peak Media servers.
  • ✦Optional iCloud sync. If enabled, data syncs through your personal iCloud account managed by Apple. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
  • ✦No analytics, no tracking, no ads.

Rigor

  • ✦All data stored on device. Your fasting logs, workout history, nutrition entries, sleep records, and mobility sessions are stored locally on your device.
  • ✦No account required. You never need to create an account or provide personal information.
  • ✦No data transmitted to our servers. Rigor does not send any data to Atlas Peak Media servers.
  • ✦Apple HealthKit integration. With your explicit permission, Rigor may read and write workout, nutrition, and sleep data to Apple HealthKit. See the HealthKit section below for details.
  • ✦No analytics, no tracking, no ads.

Talos

  • ✦All data stored on device. Your property analyses, saved comparables, and portfolio data are stored locally on your device.
  • ✦No account required. No personal information needed.
  • ✦Local-first, with optional iCloud and configured services. User-authored deal data is stored locally and may sync through your private iCloud database. FRED market data and Pro+ live listing discovery may use network services when configured.
  • ✦No ads, no tracking, and no sale of deal data. See the Talos-specific privacy policy.

First Generation Finance

  • ✦Optional account via Supabase. If you create an account, your profile information and saved data are stored on secure Supabase-hosted servers.
  • ✦Can be used without an account. Core educational content is accessible without registration.
  • ✦Data deletion available. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing contact@atlaspeakmedia.com.
  • ✦No ads.

Shortlist

  • ✦Data stored on device. Your school lists, saved comparisons, and persona preferences are stored locally on your device.
  • ✦Optional sync. If enabled, school lists and preferences may be synced to provide a consistent experience across devices.
  • ✦Public data only. All institutional data displayed in Shortlist comes from publicly available federal sources (U.S. Department of Education, IPEDS, College Scorecard).
  • ✦No analytics, no tracking, no ads.

Apple HealthKit Data

Rigor may read and write the following data types to Apple HealthKit with your explicit permission:

  • ✦Workout data: Exercise type, duration, calories burned, and heart rate
  • ✦Nutrition data: Calories, macronutrients, and water intake
  • ✦Sleep data: Sleep duration, bedtime, and wake time
  • ✦Body measurements: Weight and body fat percentage

HealthKit data is never transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties. All HealthKit interactions occur locally on your device between Rigor and the Health app. You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in your device's Settings under Privacy & Security, then Health.

Website — Information We Collect

When you use atlaspeakmedia.com, we may collect:

  • ✦Usage data: anonymous analytics about how you interact with our website
  • ✦Device information: device type and browser version for troubleshooting purposes

How We Use Your Information

Data Storage and Security

For apps that store data on our servers (First Generation Finance), data is stored on secure, encrypted servers and we limit access to personal information to those who need it to perform their duties.

Third-Party Services

Our applications may use the following third-party services:

  • ✦Apple: App Store, StoreKit, CloudKit, MapKit, LocalAuthentication, HealthKit, and AVSpeechSynthesizer
  • ✦FRED: Public economic and market data used by Talos for contextual market readings
  • ✦Supabase: Cloud database and authentication for First Generation Finance

These services have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • ✦Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • ✦Request correction of inaccurate information
  • ✦Request deletion of your personal information
  • ✦Opt out of marketing communications

For device-only apps (Lexica, Rigor, Talos, Shortlist), deleting the app removes all data since we never had it. For First Generation Finance accounts, email us to exercise any of these rights.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 13. Rigor requires users to be at least 17 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
