How do I restore purchases?

Open Talos, go to Settings, then use Restore Purchases in the subscription area. Talos asks Apple StoreKit to refresh the subscriptions tied to your Apple ID.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your device, open Settings, tap your Apple ID, choose Subscriptions, select Talos, and cancel before the renewal date.

Is an introductory offer available?

Talos displays an introductory offer only when Apple returns one for your storefront and eligibility. Review the localized price, offer period, and renewal terms shown before confirming a purchase.

Does Talos require an account?

No. Talos v1 does not require an Atlas Peak Media account. Subscriptions are tied to your Apple ID through StoreKit.

How does iCloud sync work?

When CloudKit is available, Talos can sync user-authored deal data through your private iCloud database. If iCloud is unavailable, Talos keeps working with local storage and labels the sync state in Settings.

Does Talos store my Face ID or Touch ID?

No. Biometric app lock is handled locally by Apple LocalAuthentication. Talos does not receive or store biometric templates.

How do I delete data?

Delete individual deals in the app, or delete the app to remove local Talos data. If iCloud sync is active, manage iCloud app data through Apple ID and iCloud settings.

Why is Market data unavailable?

Optional market data requires a FRED API key you provide, network access, and series availability. Your key is stored in Keychain and sent directly to FRED only when you explicitly refresh public economic data; deal data is not included.

Does Talos use my current location?

No. Talos v1 does not request device location. When you map a saved deal, an address you entered may be sent to Apple's geocoding service to create a map pin.

What does optional diagnostics share?

Diagnostics are off by default. If you explicitly consent in Settings, Talos uses Sentry for crash/error and performance data only. It excludes deal content, financial inputs, addresses, screenshots, and direct identifiers. Turning the setting off stops future collection but does not delete events already received.

How do exports work?

Pro users can export PDF and CSV summaries. Exports include trust labels, source notes, generated timestamps, and a not-advice disclaimer.

How do I load the sample portfolio?

Open Settings and choose Load Sample Portfolio. Talos adds synthetic sample deals for learning, screenshots, and exploration without duplicating them if they already exist.

How do I report a bug?

Email talos@atlaspeakmedia.com with your device model, iOS version, Talos version, what you expected, what happened, and any screenshots or screen recordings that help explain the issue.
